Heather focuses her practice on commercial litigation with an emphasis on entertainment, health care, and appellate work. She has significant experience in court appearances, settlement negotiations, propounding and responding to discovery requests, preparing witnesses and counsel for deposition and trial, and various pro bono matters.
Prior to joining Mintz Levin, Heather worked as a litigation associate at an international law firm. Her primary responsibilities included significant research and drafting, which encompassed demurrers and motions to dismiss, motions for summary judgment, motions to compel, motions in limine, trial briefs, ex parte applications, and appellate briefs.
Heather’s experiences includes managing a damages case in a $100 million contractual dispute, successfully defending a leading international entertainment company in a multibillion-dollar wrongful death trial, and conducting internal investigations for a major Medicare Advantage insurer into claims of kickbacks and fraud in the provider network.
