AFC unveils new Vision and Mission

The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) unveiled its new Vision and Mission today in Doha, Qatar, with the aim to establish the AFC as the world’s leading football confederation.

Launched in conjunction with the ongoing AFC U23 Championship, the announcement was made in the presence of the AFC’s Executive Committee members, key stakeholders and commercial partners. Some of Asia’s finest – Ravshan Irmatov, Park Ji-Sung, Asako Takakura and Sami Al-Jaber – were also in attendance and took centre stage to introduce the new Vision and Mission.

AFC President Shaikh Salman bin Ebrahim Al Khalifa emphasised the need to elevate Asian football to the next phase of development and success. Ensure that the AFC’s competitions, matches and the conduct of its people conform to the highest ethical and sporting standards
