Both Presidents discussed the current situation facing sport, also considering that the IOC’s major global sporting event, the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020, which were initially scheduled to take place in July-August 2020 were rescheduled for July-August 2021.

For his part, the FIFA President, who recently joined the IOC after being elected Member during the 135th IOC Session on 10 January 2020, will participate at the next IOC Session, which is being held by video conference on Friday 17 July 2020.
