P&G to support Para athletes’ community work

IPC Logo

International Paralympic Committee (IPC) partner Procter & Gamble (P&) has launched an initiative that awards 52 grants worth USD 10,000 (EUR 8,452) each to support an athlete’s charitable cause and help advance their work in the community.

The P&G Athletes for Good Fund will provide grants toward the areas of equality and inclusion, environmental sustainability and community impact. They are available to Para athletes who have already qualified, or are attempting to qualify, for the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games next year.

Athletes can submit their application through Athlete365 until 6 October, and the application form and terms can be found online.

P&G secured marketing rights for the first time to the IPC and Paralympic Games in July, and the agreement is part of an extended eight-year agreement with the International Olympic Committee (IOC).
