The Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) is pleased to announce that two riders (one woman and one man) are candidates for the role of indoor cycling representative on the UCI Athletes' Commission. They are Flavia Zuber (SUI) and Patrick Schnetzer (AUT).

Given that one woman and one man will join the Commission, the two candidates, who already served on the UCI Athletes’ Commission from 2017 to 2021, will be re-elected by acclamation during the 2021 UCI Indoor Cycling World Championships taking place from 29 to 31 October in Stuttgart (Germany).

The members of the Commission will serve for a term of four years that will begin at the end of the 2021 UCI Indoor Cycling World Championships, the last UCI World Championships of the year.
