Ben Blackmore has been found guilty of breaching three of the RFL’s Operational Rules, and suspended for 10 weeks – effective from May 24.

The Featherstone Rovers player had been referred to the RFL’s Compliance Department for a social media post in March, and charged with three breaches of the Operational Rules last month.

An Operational Rules Tribunal convened earlier this week, and found him guilty of bringing the game into disrepute, failing to observe codes of conduct, and unacceptable language or behaviour.

The ORT’s full verdict is available to read here.

Ben Blackmore is currently communicating with the RLPA / GMB Union to decide if he would like to Appeal the RFL Tribunal decision.
