Jeremy is Head of Sport at RPC and is a recognised specialist for IP contentious and non-contentious work. He has many years of experience acting for and against sports-related entities, including various Premier League and Football League clubs, as well as acting for the leading sports retailer Sports Direct and its associated brands such as Slazenger, Dunlop, Lonsdale and Everlast.
Jeremy has vast experience in complex licensing arrangements. This year Jeremy has advised on several high profile football regulatory matters for Premier League football clubs, regarding domestic and international rules. Jeremy is advising on a significant boxing related dispute for one of the biggest names in boxing, a matter with international reach. He is also at the coal face of some new developments advising in relation to new technology with regards to player injuries in contact sports.
Jeremy has been recommended in Legal 500, Chambers/Chambers Europe and Legal Experts for many years, and he also regularly contributes to journals and gives presentations. Jeremy is a member of the Law Society’s IP Working Party.
