FIFA Football Law Annual Review 3rd Edition
In 2019 FIFA organized the first ever FIFA Football Law Annual Review (FLAR). This was a major breakthrough in a very long period of a restricted access to information and decisions of FIFA judicial bodies and the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS).
Transparency and openness in the activity, initiatives, decisions and challenges in the football matters is of paramount importance for FIFA today. At the same time, the contribution of opinions, views and proposals by the football stakeholders and lawyers working in football current legal and procedural football issues is key in strengthening football.
In 2020, for the 2nd edition of FLAR were registered 330 participants for the event planned to take place in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Due to the Covid-19 outbreak FLAR was actually only delivered online with more than 1000 viewers attending thorough presentations on regulations and legal decisions by FIFA and CAS football related cases.
Now with the 3rd edition of FLAR establishes a tradition of an annual global conference of the all football legal practitioners and football stakeholders worldwide been updated on the recent developments and discussing the future challenges.
This will focus on top of the 2020 review on the most important decisions rendered by the FIFA judicial bodies and the CAS, as well as the new regulations passed by FIFA.

The 3rd edition of the FLAR will take place only virtually, due to the Covid-19 outbreak and the international restrictions in place.
Attendance at this on-line version of the FIFA Football Law Annual Review is open to everyone interested. Recommended for executives and administration of FIFA member associations, confederations, leagues, clubs, players’ unions, lawyers active or interested to be become active in football issues.
All presentations will be given in English, with simultaneous interpreting into Spanish and French.
