Esports Integrity Commission statement on exploitation of a bug in CS:GO by team coaches.

We conclude that it is beyond doubt that dead, HUNDEN and MechanoGun are guilty of exploiting the infamous “coach bug”. We acknowledge the admissions of HUNDEN and MechanoGun and their acceptance of the ESL and Dreamhack sanctions. We have offered the opportunity to all teams to appeal our decisions to the ESIC Independent Disciplinary Panel as per the appeals process outlined within our Code.

FIFA has today launched a new and enhanced integrity toolkit that aims to protect the integrity of football and help member associations and confederations to strengthen and further enhance existing measures in place to protect national and regional-level football matches and competitions from match manipulation.

Esports Integrity Commission Update on MDL Match Fixing Investigation

Approximately eighteen months ago and on several occasions since, ESIC has received suspicious bet alerts through our global integrity monitoring framework which led us to establish an investigation into potential match-fixing activity in the MDL tournament series administered by one of our members, ESEA (a subsidiary operation of ESL). As we consider this matter to be of industry concern due to social media speculation, we have chosen to provide an update as we begin to finalise our investigation.
