Sir David Foskett

Sir David is a member of Sport Resolutions’ Panel of Arbitrators and Mediators, both domestically and internationally, having been a member of the Sports Dispute Resolution Panel’s Panel of Mediators and Arbitrators prior to his appointment as a High Court Judge in 2007.  He is a member of the Premier League Judicial Panel, a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, a CEDR-trained mediator and Chair of the Civil Mediation Council. He is now is a full-time arbitrator and mediator. As a judge, he had extensive experience of medically-related cases, employment, disciplinary and contractual issues and tried a number of cases involving sporting and leisure-related matters. As a QC he represented a kick-boxer in a damages claim and at one stage in his career at the Bar he was Standing Counsel to the British Horse Society. He has wide sporting interests with cricket, golf, rugby and athletics predominating.
