Athlete welfare in practice: education, career planning & mental health support

Athlete welfare in practice - webinar title image

In this webinar, three time Olympic Champion and Social Chairman of MEEF (Hungarian Elite Athletes’ Advocacy Forum), Áron Szilágyi, and sports lawyer, Péter Rippel-Szabó, will explain how the MEEF, with over 1,000 athlete members, works: how it is structured, how it recruits and engages members, and how it runs its dual career, financial and mental health programmes. They will also cover how it works with partner institutions, volunteers, the state and federations, and be candid about what has worked and what has not.

If you are a federation, institution, athlete group or adviser working out how to support elite athletes now and after they retire, this is the session to attend.
