Steph’s sports law practice includes human rights issues, commercial and sponsorship disputes, eSports, and doping. She is on the National Safeguarding Pilot assisting NGBs and independent investigators on procedural fairness, data protection, disciplinary and safeguarding policies, as well as arbitrations. Recent highlights include advising and representing a former national level rugby player, two boxers, an Olympic gold medallist and a horse trainer in anti-doping proceedings. She has also advised a football club on a sponsorship agreement. She was selected to be part of an ad hoc panel providing advice and representation at the 2019 Doha World Athletics Championships; and she has been an arbitral secretary on a FA Rule K arbitration. She regularly writes on sports law; and has peer reviewed for the Australian and New Zealand Sports Law Journal. She has a certificate in sports arbitration from the Asian International Arbitration Centre.
