Morris is an accomplished sports lawyer and is widely recognised as a leading name in the sector. His practice focuses principally on the creation, acquisition, exploitation and protection of sports media, data and marketing rights. Clients include high-profile governing bodies, agencies, broadcasters, sponsors and individuals.
Morris teaches sports media on the British Association for Sport and Law and De Montfort University Sports Law programme and is a regular speaker at conferences on sports media and sponsorship issues. He is the author of the Broadcasting chapter of the leading textbook ‘Sport: Law and Practice’ and is a Director of the British Association for Sport and Law.
