Mahammad is a qualified lawyer in Azerbaijan, currently working as Legal Associate at BHM Law Firm and as Secondee at Formula 1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix. He holds an LL.M. in International Business Law degree from Central European University and an LL.B. degree from Baku State University. He is also a legal trainee at DRC Database where he prepares extracts from the FIFA DRC Decisions.

His main interest areas are sports, arbitration, corporate and securities law. He has one and a half years of experience at the Association of Football Federations of Azerbaijan, where he was also Secretary to the Committee on the Status and Transfer of Players. In addition, he was involved in the organization of the 4 matches of UEFA EURO 2020 in Baku. In terms of non-professional activities, he loves playing and watching chess, football and table tennis, reading books and watching sci-fi thriller movies.
