Rachel is an associate in the Farrer & Co Employment team and Safeguarding Unit. Rachel qualified in 2014 and, since then, has developed a broad practice of advisory, investigatory and litigation within the employment, education and safeguarding sectors. Rachel advises sports organisations, membership organisations, education establishments, commercial entities and charities on complex and sensitive matters in a manner which instills confidence and provides clarity.
Rachel is adept at assisting clients with major crises, complex consultations, investigations (regarding current matters or non-recent), industrial relations, handling discrete matters and giving advice to Boards. Rachel’s broad practice means she is very experienced in the Employment Tribunal, having managed high-value cases including claims for unfair dismissal, discrimination and complex whistleblowing.
Rachel is recognised for her interest in taking a holistic approach when giving advice; prioritising getting to know her clients’ operations and seeking to build long-lasting relationships with the organisations or individuals she works with.
