Piotr M. Wawrzyniak

Piotr is a senior associate at Schelstraete Equine Lawyers.

Piotr leads the firm’s business section and represents clients in sports law related matters (including arbitration before the FEI Tribunal and CAS). He focuses on advising and negotiating commercial contracts, often with a cross-border element.

Piotr has studied law at multiple universities across Europe including; Poznan (Poland) Poland, Germany and The Netherlands, Mannheim (Germany) and Amsterdam (The Netherlands). In 2017, he successfully completed the Post-Academic Course in National and International Contracting at the prestigious Grotius Academy in the Netherlands.

Piotr has registered the legal practice area ‘Contract Law’ in the Netherlands Bar’s register of legal practice areas (rechtsgebiedenregister). Based on this registration, he is required to obtain ten training credits per calendar year in this registered legal practice area in accordance with the standards set by the Netherlands Bar.
