How to Better Protect Children in Sport

Children safeguarding in sport is starting to get higher on the agenda for sports clubs, sports organisations and governments. However, there can still be a reluctance to acknowledge that more needs to be done, leaving children, and other sports stakeholders such as coaches, clubs, sport bodies, funding organisations and government entities isolated, and vulnerable to exploitation.

This webinar will provide a practical insight and expert opinion on how sports organisations can and should develop, implement and embed safeguarding policies and guidelines towards the protection of children from all kinds risks in organisations that children may face.

Speakers:
  • Katie Fudakowski, Partner, Farrer & Co.
  • Adele Eastman, Senior Counsel, Farrer & Co.

The speakers recently published an article on this topic which will be expanded on during the webinar. The article is available here.
