LawInSport's inaugural Motorsport Law Conference is commencing on 30 March 2021 at 1 PM BST with a discussion on building and integrating a legal team in motorsport
This panel will focus on what type of expertise and people are required to run an effective legal team in motorsport, as well as what types of skills may be needed to deal with future developments. Our speakers on this topic will be:
- Carrie Donaghy, Motorsport Legal Director, Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One Team
- Ollie Rumsey, Legal Director, Aston Martin F1 Team
- Sean Cottrell, CEO, LawInSport
Our panel will discuss:
The different size and structure of the legal teams they have worked in.
How much of their time is split between the different areas? e.g. commercial, regulatory, employment, etc
How do they integrate with the wider team?
What legal areas do they see growing in importance to in-house teams in motorsport?
The conference provides attendees with interactive panel discussions, with world-leading experts discussing the contemporary legal issues impacting motorsport. You get to engage will fellow attendees in the chat feature and ask your questions throughout the sessions. You will also be able to obtain between 4-7 hours of self-accredited CPD. Certificates of attendance will be provided.
Attendees can get a full certificate of attendance even if they have not been able to watch live, provided they have watched the full recordings of each session.
