We are pleased to announce Interpol's Integrity In Sport unit as our latest LawInSport blogger.
The Interpol Integrity in Sport unit, as part of their mandate to raise awareness of contemporary issues relating to match-fixing in football, compiles a weekly overview of the main stories in the media relating to current investigations, sanctions and sentences, illegal betting and best practice.
Sean Cottrell, LawInSport’s CEO believes this will prove to be an invaluable resource for the LawInSport community: "Interpol have been doing a tremendous job of providing information and education on issues concerning integrity in sport. The Integrity In Sport weekly media recap is just one of their initiatives, and all of us at LawInSport have found it particularly helpful for staying up-to-date with the latest developments in this area. We are delighted that Interpol’s Integrity In Sport Unit has chosen to publish their weekly media recap on LawInSport. This will be an invaluable resource for the LawInSport community."
