Opposition against Bürki's suspension
FC Thun is appealing the 5-match suspension imposed on its defender Marco Bürki.
Having been handed a five-match suspension for a serious assault during the 37th-round match against Young Boys, Marco Bürki hopes to have his ban reduced. FC Thun has filed an appeal to that effect.
As a reminder, the captain of the recent Swiss champion has already served a one-match suspension during the last match against FC St. Gallen, the first suspension after a red card being automatic.
