Strohbach suspended for 2 matches
Etoile Carouge defender Ivann Strohbach will miss the next two matches. Nine other players and an assistant coach are also suspended.
Sent off for a reckless foul against FC Rapperswil-Jona, Etoile Carouge defender Ivann Strohbach has been handed a two-match suspension. He will miss Sunday's away game against Yverdon and then the home game against FC Vaduz on May 8.
Nine players suspended following their fourth, eighth or twelfth yellow card.
In addition, having received their fourth, eighth, or twelfth yellow card of the season, eight other players will also miss the next round of league matches, in the Brack Super League or dieci Challenge League respectively: Sandro Lauper (Young Boys), Gaël Ondoua (Servette), Ruben Fernandes (Lucerne), Kevin Bua (Etoile Carouge), Lucas Pos, Patrick Weber (Yverdon), Kastrijot Ndau (Wil), Dominik Schwizer (Vaduz), and Yoan Epitaux (Neuchâtel Xamax FCS).
Salzarulo banned from the bench for 5 matches
FC Lugano assistant coach Michele Salzarulo will be banned from the bench for 5 matches following his expulsion for aggressive behavior towards a player against FC Thun.
