ABOUT
We are excited to announce that the LawInSport Global Summit 2023 - Understand The Rules Of The Game, will be hosted at 1 Wimpole Street, London on 09th & 10th October 2023.
This year’s conference will be the 9th edition of what was formerly the ‘LawInSport Annual Conference’. The Global Summit builds on the success of the previous conferences, bringing together members of our community, and the wider sports industry, to participate in panel discussions, forums and networking.
The Global Summit introduces an exciting new format providing attendees with an enhanced experience, with more opportunities to learn and share relevant knowledge, and build meaningful relationships that will benefit them and their organisations.
You will be able to follow updates about the conference by using #LISGS23.

Throughout the conference a number of forums for subject matter experts and stakeholders will take place under Chatham House Rule. These forums give attendees greater opportunities to enter into more detailed topics specific discussions and develop relationships with colleagues with subject matter interest.

Not only will attendees partake in cutting-edge panel discussions, they will also receive a complimentary copy of the “Understand The Rules Of The Game” conference magazine. Attendees will therefore have access to detailed reference materials that will help them when faced with legal issues in their work or studies.

LawInSport events are renowned for their unparalleled networking opportunities, and this will be a theme that continues at this year’s Global Summit. With over 6 hours of networking and two drinks receptions, attendees can take advantage of dedicated time to meet with colleagues in the sector in a friendly and welcoming environment.

We understand that with all the best intentions to attend every session over the two days, there will be times when attendees may need to check into work or take calls...the work of lawyers and executives never stops!
Therefore to give attendees the best opportunity to be present and make the most of the conference, we have allocated a private room to work in and take calls should you need to. You will never have to be far from the action and be able to take advantage of all the networking opportunities and participate in the conference as much as possible.

Please note, group tickets are designed specifically with the demands of sports organisations and government departments in mind. These tickets allow for people within sports organisations to share and invite colleagues who may otherwise not be able to attend, either due to time or cost restrictions to benefit from the Global Summit.
* To qualify for a free ticket as a current or former pro athlete you must not be qualified lawyers or working as sports business professionals. These tickets are subsidised, and therefore are for the benefit of athletes that may not otherwise have the opportunity to attend such events. We hope giving athletes the opportunity to learn, develop and network will benefit them and their sport.

Hotels in Mayfair, West End, Westminster and Victoria should be within walking distance of the conference venue.
London hotels further from the centre are typically lower in price, and you may need to take public transport. Thankfully London has an excellent transport system.
