ABOUT
The 12th LawInSport Global Summit 2026 - Understand The Rules Of The Game, will be hosted in London on 28th & 29th September 2026 by A&O Shearman, London.
This year’s Global Summit is one of our most important yet. The sports industry continues to evolve at pace with unprecedented levels of investment and private capital entering sport, the continued flattening of media rights revenues, changes to the sponsorship landscape and increasing government and regulatory intervention across the sector, not to mention increase intervention from European and National courts.
Join us and members of our community, and the wider sports industry, to participate in panel discussions, workshops, rountables and networking drinks receptions with people who have a shared interest and passion for the business of sport.

Interactive Panel Discussions
The conference provides attendees with two full days of interactive panel discussions, with world leading experts discussing the contemporary legal issues impacting global sport.
Roundtables
Throughout the conference a number of forums for subject matter experts and stakeholders will take place under Chatham House Rule. These forums give attendees greater opportunities to enter into more detailed topics specific discussions and develop relationships with colleagues with subject matter interest.
Networking
LawInSport events are renowned for their unparalleled networking opportunities, and this will be a theme that continues at this year’s Global Summit. With over 6 hours of networking and two drinks receptions, attendees can take advantage of dedicated time to meet with colleagues in the sector in a friendly and welcoming environment.
Private Work Space
We understand that with all the best intentions to attend every session over the two days, there will be times when attendees may need to check into work or take calls...the work of lawyers and executives never stops!
Therefore to give attendees the best opportunity to be present and make the most of the conference, we have allocated a private room to work in and take calls should you need to. You will never have to be far from the action and be able to take advantage of all the networking opportunities and participate in the conference as much as possible.

Athlete Tickets
Full-Time Current Athlete & Esports Players/Managers/Coaches = FREE.
If you represent your country at the Olympics and Paralympics or you are a full-time professional athlete, manager or coach you are eligible for a complimentary ticket to the conference. However, if you are currently working in the professional services sector or you are in an executive position for a sports organisation you will not be eligible for a free ticket.
