Football, finance, and the law

are jointly organising a seminar about the latest legal and financial developments in football. 

The seminar will take place on 26 and 27 April 2019.

This seminar offers a multidisciplinary approach. With the support of renowned experts, it discusses the latest legal and commercial developments in football.

The legal aspects covered during the seminar include recent developments related to TPO and Financial FairPlay, as well as future changements to the transfer system and competition law issues. The commercial aspects include, among others, issues and models related to multiple ownership and commercialisation for football players

The event brings together several speakers who will expose their own views on ‘hot’ topics:

• Michael Yormark, president and head of branding of Jay Z’s sports and entertainment agency Roc Nation, will discuss commercial opportunities for clubs and players. He will focus on the American approach of athlete management.
• Double Pass will share their unique vision on the return on investment related to youth development. Yves Le Lostecque, head of the European Commission’s sport unit, will discuss the future model of sports and the role of the EU within that model.

There will also be an expert panel dedicated to eSports, which continues to have a growing impact in football.
