Deji Adekunle is a Professor of Law, Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) and was the former Director General of the Nigerian Institute of Advanced Legal Studies. Deji has participated as an expert on Sports law in several meetings including a Panel of experts on the UNODC Handbook on the Confiscation of Proceeds of Crime, Vienna Austria (2012), an international meeting on Criminalization approaches to combat match-fixing and illegal/irregular betting: a global perspective”, organized jointly by IOC and UNODC in 2013 and a Roundtable on Fraud in Sports convened by NIALS in 2015. has edited several publications and has published extensively in reputable journals. His major interests are economic crimes, criminal justice, sports law, constitutional law and legislative drafting. He is also a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Mediators and Conciliators.
Farai Razano is a director at Maseko Murphy Njilo & Razano Inc. His practice focuses on sports law and entertainment law. He has acted for individual athletes, football clubs, sports associations, and several clients in the film and television industry. Farai has advised and acted for various clients before national and international specialist dispute resolution tribunals. He has also acted as a Prosecutor for the South African Institute for Drug-Free Sport and Boxing South Africa.
Kelvin C. Omuojine specializes in sport governance. His experience includes working with football regulatory bodies in Nigeria on compliance and regulatory issues, as well as membership of the Disciplinary Committee of the Nigeria Football Federation. Kelvin has a masters degree in sports law from Nottingham Trent University and his previous legal practice experience has involved working in both the private and public sectors - with private law firms and as a State counsel. A keen footballer, Kelvin can often be found on the field with Ibusa Football Club, which he founded and named after his hometown.
