Sports united in opposition to Ofcom's 'attack' on Sky's pricing policy
The governing bodies of football, cricket and rugby all rely heavily on the lavish sums that Sky invests in British sport – a total of £1 billion per year. But they predict that their TV income could fall away dramatically if Sky's whole business model – which uses sport as the prime driver of subscriptions – is undermined by interference from the regulator.
