Danish Kaneria and Mervyn Westfield arrested over spot-fixing

Danish Kaneria and Mervyn Westfield, the Essex players, have been arrested in an investigation into spot-fixing, a club representative has confirmed. Pakistan leg-spinner Kaneria, 29, and 22-year-old pace bowler Westfield attended an Essex police station on Friday and questioned, before being released on bail.
