Brazilian Felipe Massa extends Ferrari contract until end of 2012

Brazilian Felipe Massa has extended his contract with Ferrari until the end of 2012, the Italian Formula One team have confirmed. There had been speculation that Ferrari wanted Renault's Robert Kubica, but the new deal means Massa will now stay alongside Fernando Alonso next year.
