Fourth officials will have more power in Scotland next season after Fifa directive
The first change to enforcement of the laws of the game has been introduced by Fifa, who will permit fourth officials to tell referees if they have witnessed a red card offence like the foul by Rangers' Kyle Lafferty on Andreas Hinkel of Celtic during the New Year Old Firm derby at Parkhead.
