Preston name Darren Ferguson as new manager

PRESTON have appointed Darren Ferguson as their new manager - on a three-and-a-half-year contract.

37-year-old Darren Ferguson had been a free agent since leaving Peterborough in November and succeeds Alan Irvine at Preston.
