FIA considering appeal options

The FIA says it will not let matters rest following the decision by the French courts to overturn Flavio Briatore and Pat Symonds’s bans from world motorsport.

Last autumn Formula 1’s governing body barred Briatore and Symonds from participation in all FIA-sanctioned events for an indefinite period and five years respectively, after a World Motor Sport Council hearing found them guilty of conspiring to cause a deliberate crash in the 2008 Singapore Grand Prix.
