Lord Triesman attempts to ensure Franco Baldini's safety at Africa Cup of Nations

Baldini is due to fly to Angola in time to watch England’s World Cup opponents Algeria, who play their Group A match against Mali in Luanda on Thursday, and then will also watch all the other African nations who have qualified for this summer’s tournament in South Africa.

Baldini’s travel and security arrangements have, understandably, been reviewed by the FA in light of the horrific killings in Cabinda last Friday.
