Los Angeles Dodgers reach agreements with three players, avoid arbitration

Dodgers closer Jonathan Broxton and right fielder Andre Ethier, two of the club's most promising young players, agreed to terms on two-year contracts Tuesday, avoiding arbitration this winter and allowing the team to buy Broxton out of his remaining arbitration eligibility.
