England star players' support for new T20 competition is not a given

The relaunch of Twenty20 cricket, in the form of the new Friends Provident T20, takes place on June 1. The format, brimming with hype and noise, needs its stars, though, a fact recognised by Steve Elworthy, the England and Wales Cricket Board's new director of marketing and communication.
