HMRC to reject Portsmouth offer to creditors

Embattled Portsmouth are facing another blow with HM Revenue and Customs set to reject the club's repayment offer to creditors. A vote on the 20p in the pound offer will be taken at a creditors meeting on 17 June and HMRC – who claim they are owed £35m – will seek a better offer. A statement said: "HMRC is determined to achieve a fair deal for the taxpayer."

Fulham sign Senderos from Arsenal

Fulham have announced the signing of central defender Philippe Senderos from Arsenal on a three-year contract. The Switzerland international, 25, joined the Gunners from Servette in 2003 but has had loan spells at AC Milan and then Everton in the last two seasons.

Rafael Benítez 'agrees' bumper three-year deal to become Inter Milan manager

Rafael Benítez has agreed to become the new coach of European champions Inter Milan, according to the Italian club's president Massimo Moratti. "We've got an agreement, we finalised the last details that in any case weren't important," said Moratti, quoted by the ANSA news agency.

Phil Brown and Hull City agree compensation deal

Hull City have reached a compensation deal with Phil Brown that confirms the former manager's exit from the club. Despite being put on gardening leave in March, Brown was officially still the manager as no settlement agreement had been agreed between the two parties.

CPFC 2010 consortium agrees deal to buy Crystal Palace

Crystal Palace Football Club has agreed a deal with the CPFC 2010 consortium for the sale of the club. Brendan Guilfoyle, the joint administrator of Crystal Palace, has confirmed that legally binding agreements have been signed which should save the football club.
