A court in Bangkok issued a warrant today for the arrest on terrorism charges of the ousted prime minister, Thaksin Shinawatra, as its crackdown on the anti-government Red Shirts movement continued with the arrest of a British man who took part in the demonstrations.

Sir Chris Hoy lashes out at changes to Olympic regulations
