New Precedent Set For Withholding/Editing Content From Regulatory Decisions? - The FA v Marc Bola

An FA Regulatory Commission made by Middlesbrough footballer, Marc Bola (Player), to edit the content of its Written Reasons in order to remove the wording of the social media post which was the subject of the disciplinary charge.

The case has been described as “landmark” and the author explores whether the decision opens the door for participants to seek to withhold or edit content from a Regulatory Commission’s Written Reasons in future misconduct cases.[2]

The author acted for the Player in this case alongside Christina Michalos QC of 5RB.
